According to Economic Research Institute, Mr. Powell made €3,932,000 ($4,561,611.50 USD) in total compensation as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board at Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. KGaA in 2020. €3,503,000 ($4,063,987.94 USD) was received as Total Cash, €0 ($0.00) was received as Equity and €429,000 ($497,704.35 USD) was received as Pension and other forms of compensation. This comes after news of patients that should be listed for a kidney transplant being denied, as well as good kidneys being rejected by kidney teams without patients’ knowledge.
