According to the New York Post, "The National Kidney Foundation’s web traffic — including inquiries on how to donate — have surged by tree-hundred-fifty percent (350%) since the stars’ [Selena Gomez's] heart-rending Instagram post on Sept. 14th," where she announced she had gotten a new kidney from her longtime actress friend.
