Radio 'Shock Jock' Howard Sten Reveals Kidney Challenges And Scare



There are over 20 million people in the United States with Kidney Complications. Howard Stern (Famous Radio Legend) revealed that he can be added to the list. On the morning of May 10, 2017, Howard Stern abruptly canceled his show. While little was known why at the time we now know it was due to concerns that he may have Kidney Cancer. Long-time fans who knew the radio host's reputation for never missing a day of work were alarmed when the show was canceled. Little did most know, the 'Shock Jock', Mr. Stern, was being wheeled into surgery, to remove a growth on his kidney that doctors told him had a 90% chance of being cancerous, according to a CNN Report.

Up to that point, Stern had led a healthy life, virtually devoid of medical issues. Hence, he knows that Kidney Complications can impact patients lives for causes outside of their control. "And now all I'm thinking is, 'I'm going to die,'" Stern said. "And I'm scared sh*tless."

Fortunately, after the operation, the contentious radio legend learned the growth was just a benign (not harmful in effect) cyst. Still, according to his book, the brush with death has made Mr. Stern reflect on the life he had been living and he is constantly looking for ways to help others.
