Slow Cooked Lean Steak, Tender and Flavorful


Lean Steak Filet

  1. Remove all visible fat from lean cut of steak(s).
  2. Dust steak(s) with all purpose flour.
  3. Place in slow cooker.
  4. Generously combine chopped onions and mushrooms.
  5. Add water to fill the bottom of the slow cooker.
  6. Marinate with barbecue sauce (1/4 cup) and hot sauce (3 tabsp).
  7. Cover and cook for 4 hours.

Serve with gravy over quinoa and vegetable.
