Sautéed Basil Mahi-Mahi: A Rich and Tangy Flavor

Basil Mahimahi

  1. Rinse fish, pat it dry with a paper towel.
  2. Cut raw fish into four pieces.
  3. Add pepper and lemon zest for taste.
  4. Combine a single beaten egg and basil in a bowl.
  5. In a separate dish, add flour (1/2 cup).
  6. Dip raw fish into egg-basil mixture and then coat with flour.
  7. Lightly cover the bottom of a large skillet with oil.
  8. Heat oil and sauté fish on medium-high stove.
  9. Sauté until fish easily flakes with a fork.

Served with mashed potatoes and your choice of green leafy vegetable.
