Angela Taggart, of Rahway, N.J., has been on dialysis since she was 19. She was diagnosed with a kidney infection and since then has spent three and half hours a day, three times a week, sitting in a chair getting dialysis. That is a whopping 2.5 years of her life in the dialysis chair. However, her words of kindness and insights from being a 40 year patient can inspire and encourage us all.
Watch her story below and share so that others realize with what patients must contend. If you would like to avoid many years on dialysis then begin searching for a living kidney donor.
